The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) online application for the 2026 academic year will open on 1 April 2025 and close on 30 September 2025. The application fee must be submitted along with the application form before the closing date to ensure your application is processed.

Application Fees for South African Undergraduate Applicants for 2026:

South African undergraduate applicants are required to pay an R245 application fee (plus an R465 late fee) to the Central Applications Office (CAO). Students returning to the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) will pay an R200 application fee (plus an R400 late fee) directly to UKZN. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable and is not included in UKZN’s tuition fees.
