Forget application fees! Unlike most South African universities, the University of Johannesburg welcomes new student applications for free.

UJ Application Fee Payment 2025-2026

There is no fee for online applications! When to Pay the UJ Application Fee for 2025-2026:

Skip the line and save money! Applying online at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) for 2025–2026 is free. But if you’re submitting a paper application, here’s what you need to know:

Online Applications:

Good news! Online applications at UJ are completely free for 20245 admissions. So skip the line and save yourself the R200 by applying digitally.

Paper-Based Applications:

If you prefer the traditional route, an R200 application fee applies for paper-based forms.

What happens after paying the application fee (applicable to paper-based applicants only)?
