Relevant Dates for UJ 2026 Intake

The general deadline for submitting all application documents for admission to the University of Johannesburg is October 31, 2025. This is true for those pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. You must apply during the application time, as no one can access the application portal after it has closed.

How to Apply to UJ

Beginning April 1, 2025, you can apply online at UJ using your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You only need a valid phone number and an email address. To fill out the essential fields, simply follow the on-screen prompts. The online system will indicate what documents to upload..

If you prefer, you can also apply using a paper application form. These must be submitted to one of UJ’s campuses along with the required documents. Paper applications are subject to a separate review process
