How to Track University of Free State Online Application

To track your University of Free State (UFS) application status for the academic year 2026 on the UFS system:

Open any internet browser and type www.ufs.ac.za in the URL
On the active page of the UFS website: Click on the ‘Students’ tab to navigate to KovsieLife.
Click the ‘Student Self Service tab on the active KovsieLife webpage. After clicking on ‘Student Self Service, you will be navigated to the Oracle PeopleSoft system.
1. Type in your student number in the User ID text box.
2. Type in your password in the Password text box, and
3. Click ‘Sign In’ once you have typed in your student number and password
Once you have successfully logged in on Oracle PeopleSoft, the system will navigate you to ‘Student Services Centre.
On the active Student Services Center page, click ‘View Application’ to track your application(s) status.
