TUT Manual Applications for 2025-2026

The manual application process for TUT is a method of downloading the application forms, filling them out by hand, and mailing or physically submitting them to the admissions office via mail or postal mail. Regretfully, faxed applications cannot be accepted by TUT or processed.

TUT 2025–2026 Admission Requirements

To be admitted to TSHWANE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, a candidate is required to meet the following prerequisites:

• A pass mark in English at Senior Certificate level (minimum additional language; certain programmes may require first or home language status)
• Each course has its own specific admission requirements.
• Prospective students should note that the admission requirements of individual programmes could change from year to year.
• Students will be required to take an admission test for some programs, which will determine whether they will be admitted to the program or whether they will be advised to enroll in a relevant foundation course.

TUT 2025 Re-Admission Opening Date -Read below

Distance Education: Durban and Cape Town students who were inactive or not registered prior to and up to the first semester of 2024, may apply for re-admission for 2025 and will only be allowed to register for 2025 after and if the Academic Department approved their re-admission applications.​ The closing date for submission of Re-admission applications for 2025 is 30 September 2024.
