The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is officially open and accepting online applications for admission for the 2025–2026 academic year from March 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024. All applicants (local and international) are hereby invited to complete the 2025 application form to secure a spot for any of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Apply at www.tut.ac.za as soon as possible between March 1 and September 2024 for the 2025 intake to Tshwane University of Technology’s undergraduate or graduate programs

TUT University Application Dates for 2025-2026

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) official application window for the academic year 2025-2026 is from March 1 to September 30, 2024. Any application submitted outside of these dates may not be considered for admission. You are therefore encouraged to apply as quickly as possible to secure your admission spot for the January 2025 admission intake

TUT Late Applications For 2025-2026

Limited space is available! Late applications for Tshwane University of Technology’s 2025-2026 academic year will be considered after September 30, 2024, but subject to the availability of space in your desired program. Early applications are hereby encouraged (from March 1 to September 30, 2024).

How to Apply for Admission at TUT Online.

Interested and qualified candidates should apply online by following these simple steps:

STEP 1: Login Details

  • Get access to stable internet and enter www.tut.ac.za.
  • A vаlіd е-mаіl address іѕ required before an еlесtrоnіс аррlісаtіоn can be ѕubmіttеd.

STEP 2: Fill out Your Application

  • Get an online application form
  • Fill out the online application form with the information required. Asterisks (*) are indicated on the Required/Compulsory Field. Forfeiting any of those will render your application void.

STEP 3: Upload The Required Documents

  • Gather your documents or upload further or outstanding documents. These Documents must be in the format required by the university

STEP 4: Submit your Application

  • Submit your completed online application form and documents. Review to ensure the right thing is done before clicking on the SUBMIT Button

STEP 5: Pay Tut Application Fee

  • A nоn-rеfundаblе fее оf R240 fоr аррlісаtіоn can be deposited bеfоrе hаnd at;
    • ABSA BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: 04 000 000 3
    • Reference:  рlеаѕе fill іn уоur ID number.

Supporting Documents: Documents Required for 2025

These documents must be delivered to the institution before the deadline.

  • A fully completed application form
  • Recently certified (certification may not be not older than one year)
  • Copies of your original identity document and
  • National Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results
  • Proof of administration fee payment.

Eligibility Criteria for TUT Admission in 2025/2026

No one may register as a student in a TUT program unless the following requirements have been met:.

General admission requirements for TUT

  • At the Senior Certificate level, a pass mark in English is required (minimum additional language; certain programmes may require first or home language status)
  • Each course has its own specific admission requirements.
  • Admission standards for different programs may change from year to year, so prospective students should keep this in mind.
  • Students will be required to take an admission test for some programs, which will determine whether they will be admitted to the program or whether they will be advised to enroll in a relevant foundation course.

Mathematics or mathematical literacy?

For NSC-G purposes, all students must take one of the two disciplines.

Mathematics is important for programs that require prior math knowledge; all other programs may merely require mathematical literacy. (Details on what each topic comprises can be found in the Department of Education’s curriculum statements.)
