TUT Admission Requirements

Generally, tut requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • For Bachelor’s degrees:
    • A minimum Admission Point Score (APS) of 26 is required, with Mathematics.
    • If you have Mathematical Literacy instead of Mathematics, you’ll need a minimum APS of 28.
  • For National Diplomas:
    • A minimum APS of 1500 is required, with a sub-minimum of at least 460 for critical reading, mathematics, and writing.

The admission requirements at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) vary per course. A higher APS is required since some courses may require significantly more points than the minimum requirements
