Port Elizabeth TVET College is now accepting applications for the 2026 academic year. Both national and international students can apply for their preferred undergraduate or graduate courses at this leading South African college. However, it is important to note that applications submitted after the deadline are not guaranteed to be considered.

Selection Criteria

To be selected to study your course, you must:

• Satisfy the course requirements.
• Apply for up to three study programs on the same form.
• Submit only one application form for 2026.
• Submit a completed application form.

Required Documents During Application

You need to possess certified copies of the following documents:

First-time applicants

• Two certified copies of identification (where a student is 16 years of age or older) The original must be presented at the time of application.
• A certificate of good conduct from your previous institutions of learning or workplace, if you are a worker.
• A certified copy of the most recent school report. On application, the original copy must be presented.
• Two copies of the passport photo-sized Picture
• In the case of students who are minors or whose parents or guardians provide financial support, parents or guardians must accompany the applicant to verify the accuracy of the personal information provided.

Transfer students

• Reasons for transferring to Port Elizabeth from your current school
• A letter from the previous institution confirming that you have been de-registered.
• A certified copy of the identification document
• A letter on college letterhead detailing your academic history, including Internal Continuous Assessment (ICASS) and Integrated Summative Assessment (ISAT) results.
• If transferring during the academic year, the applicants’ Portfolios of Evidence for all subjects from your previous institution
• A Certificate of Good Conduct from your previous educational institution
