You can now apply for your preferred undergraduate or graduate course at one of South Africa’s top universities, whether you are a national or non-national student. The University of South Africa (UNISA) does not guarantee applications submitted beyond the deadline. We recommend that you apply as soon as possible to secure your position in the course.

To apply to the University of South Africa (UNISA), complete the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Selection Criteria

  • You must meet the minimum and faculty requirements of the selected course.
  • Apply for up to three study programs on the same form.
  • Submit only one application form for 2026.
  • Submit a completed application form.
  • You can reapply for the 2026 academic year if you were previously rejected.

Undergraduate
