Step 3: Registration Details

  • Fill out the application form, pay the CAO application fee, and deliver it to the CAO according to the instructions in your CAO manual.

Step 5: Track Your Application Status

  • Your information will now be available on the CAO and affiliated institutions if you have also chosen another institution.
  • The selection process now begins, and the DUT Student Admissions Office will keep you updated on the status.

Minimum requirements for admission at the Durban University of Technology.

  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC), as certified by Umalusi, is required, provided that a minimum of four recognized NSC 20-credit subjects must be passed. These four subjects must
    • include English
    • not exceed two official languages; and
    • have an achievement rating for the NSFAS LOANS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme) DUX Award
  • When entering DUT, you will find that there is a wide range of career options that you can choose from, some of which you may never have heard of. of 3 (moderate achievement 40%–49%) or better, in accordance with the NSC levels of achievement.
