Stellenbosch University has announced its application fee policy for the 2026 academic year. The fee depends on the applicant’s country of origin and applies to both undergraduate and graduate students. Payment is required before the specified admission dates. Who Pays the SU Fee?

Any individual applying to study at Stellenbosch University for the 2026 academic year must pay the application fee as follows:

Application Fee: R100 (non-refundable)
Payment Deadline: Must be paid before the application deadline

Exemptions:

International students (applying outside South Africa)
Applicants to the Stellenbosch University Business School (USB)

Payment Deadline

Application deadlines for each course vary. However, the due date for payments is normally the same as the application deadline. Stellenbosch University will accept applications for the 2026 academic year beginning April 1 and ending July 31, 2025. Please make sure you pay by this date or earlier.

There is no refund for application fees.
