Currently, you can apply for undergraduate or graduate courses at Rhodes by completing the necessary forms at www.ru.ac.za, regardless of whether you are a local or foreign student.

How to Apply Online at Rhodes University

Rhodes University accepts both online and walk-in applications. To apply online, go to Rhodes University’s website and click “Apply Now.

Click “Register” and create an account.”
Accept the application rules and click “proceed.”
Enter your details and click “next.”
Enter academic scores, add subjects, then click “next.”
Select your school from the drop-down box and click “next.”
Choose two program options, click “add qualification,” and then “next.”
Verify application details and click “Continue.”
To upload documents, select “yes” and click “next.”
Click “Load/View Document,” then “Upload Document,” choose files, and save.
To finish uploading all documents, click “Finish upload.”
After completing the application process, you will receive a confirmation page.

To complete your online application at Rhodes University, you must upload the following documents:

South African applicants:

South African Identify number,
Cell phone number,
Active Email address,
National Senior Certificate (NSC) or your Grade 11 results if still in school.
Academic records if transferring from another institution.
Proof of payment

International Applicants:

All applicants must present certified and clear copies of the following documents during the application process; incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Passport
National Senior Certificate or equivalent
USAF accreditation (if applicable)

A non-refundable R100 application fee is due after submitting your application. The application fee is non-refundable. Ensure payment is made by the deadline to complete your application.
