Application Fees for Moi University Admissions for 2024-2025

You must pay a non-refundable application fee of Kshs. 1,000 for degree programs and Kshs. 500 for diploma and certificate programs in order to apply to study at Moi University. Add copies of the payment slip for the fee.

Entry and Minimum Admission Requirements for Moi University 2024/2025

Admission to courses leading to a diploma, certificate, or bachelor’s degree at Moi University is contingent upon space availability and the academic standing of the applicant. Applicants can select courses at Moi University according to the following certifications, credentials, and minimum entry requirements.

Certificate Entry Requirements

KCSE Mean Grade D+ or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution for all certificate courses

Diploma Entry Requirements

An aggregate KCSE grade of C – (Minus) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution

Degree Entry Requirements

An aggregate KCSE grade of C+ (PLUS) or a relevant diploma from a recognized institution
possess the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education, which consists of two principal subjects (2 P) and one subsidiary. The two principal subjects can be any combination of mathematics, physics, geography/chemistry, or their equivalent from institutions approved by the Moi University Senate.

Moi University Application Process 2024–2025

To enroll at the university as a government-sponsored student through the KUCCPS portal, Go to the bottom of the application page and click “Log in.” Enter your KCSE year or high school index number as the password, and your student email address as the username. Please update your personal information and upload documents.

How to apply for Moi University online For Undergraduate Courses

Prospective students should follow the guidelines listed below to apply for courses in Moi University’s undergraduate programs for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Go to www.admissions.mu.ac.ke, the MU official website, to obtain the 2024–2025 application form.
Select the programme you wish to enrol in and confirm that you fulfill the requirements listed in the “Our Programmes” menu.

Complete all the required fields in each application step.
Complete the application process and send it in.
You will receive an email from the university with your application ID as soon as it is successfully submitted.
Depending on the program, pay the application fee that is indicated.
Use the application ID and password you created when creating your account to log in and monitor the status of your application.
