Laikipia University is inviting both Kenyan and international students to apply for undergraduate programs for the September 2025 intake. The online application period for the 2025-2026 academic year is now open and will close on August 29, 2025. Before selecting a course, applicants should ensure that they meet the prerequisites because they are competitive.

Laikipia University Application Dates for 2025-2026

Applications must be submitted according to the following dates:

Opening Date: January 1, 2025
Closing Date: August 29, 2025 (Midnight)

Documents Required for Laikipia University Application

To apply to Laikipia University, applicants must submit the following documents

KCSE results slip or certificate
Medical certificate
School leaving certificate
National ID (or birth certificate)
Proof of payment (application fee)
Two passport-sized photographs

Application Fees

Diploma and Certificate Programs: KSh 1,000
Degree Programs: KSh 2,000

Payments should be made to Laikipia University’s approved bank accounts, including the National Bank of Kenya. A proof of payment must be attached to the application. Please note that no fee waivers are available.

Certificate Programs: KCSE mean grade of C- or equivalent
Diploma Programs: KCSE mean grade of C or equivalent, or C- plus a certificate
