Whether you’re fresh out of high school or seeking a transfer, Walter Sisulu University welcomes you to apply for its exciting range of courses in the 2025–2026 academic year. The online application portal is still open for South African applicants and transfer students. All applicants are to access the form online, fully complete it, and submit it along with all required documents by October 31st, 2024.

Walter Sisulu University NSFAS Funding 2025-2026

NSFAS financial aid applications for the 2025–2026 academic year are open to South African students enrolled in or planning to enroll in approved courses.

International students are not eligible for NSFAS funding due to the program’s focus on supporting South African youth in select fields.

What are the Requirements During the Application Process at WSU?

Required Documents

During the application process, you must have the following documents ready to upload via the online application portal for 2025:

FRESH APPLICANTS

The certificate “Old Senior”
The N6 credential is a combination of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) and the National Certificate Vocational (NCV).
Grade 11 final results, as well as first quarter or mid-year results, if available, must be uploaded by current grade 12 students.
Candidates for post-matric must provide
- A matric or equivalent certificate
- An academic record
- Copy of ID or passport.
