How Do I Apply Online At UJ 2026
The University of Johannesburg (UJ) is an excellent choice for furthering your education, offering a diverse range of academic programs. Whether you’re a prospective undergraduate or postgraduate student, the application process can seem overwhelming. But don’t worry—this post has gathered all the important information you need to successfully apply for the 2026 academic intake.
The UJ admissions portal for the 2026 academic year will open on April 1, 2025. This is when you can begin your online application process. UJ accepts applications for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, so no matter your academic level, you can apply during this time.
Undergraduate Applications: The closing date for all undergraduate programs is October 31, 2025. Make sure you submit your completed application and all supporting documents before this date.
Postgraduate Applications: The application deadline for most postgraduate programs is October 31, 2025, but some specific programs may have different closing dates, so it’s important to check the exact requirements for your chosen course.
To avoid any last-minute stress, it’s best to start preparing your application as soon as possible. UJ has a high demand for its programs, and applying early will increase your chances of securing a spot in the 2026 intake. Be sure to check the entry requirements for your specific program and have all necessary documents ready, such as academic transcripts, ID copies, and proof of English proficiency (if required).
Most applicants fail to take into account some important admission requirements or aspects of the application procedure. Because the institution receives so many applications each year, those who do not match the criteria for admission to the selected field are immediately rejected. Download the University of Johannesburg prospectus 2026, read the admission requirements for your program, and make sure you meet them before applying before you start your adventure.
