Flavius Mareka College Application Requirements for the 2025 academic intake
All applicants must attest (certify) to the following documents and scan them in order to upload them during the online application process, as instructed by the system.
For Local Applicants
- Final Grade 9/Grade10/Grade11 results
- Senior certificate (with an exception for Bachelor’s degree) or Senior certificate Vocational (with an endorsement for, e.g., a degree, diploma, or certificate)
- Cambridge School Certificate A/O Level IGCSE/HIGCSE NSSC Higher/Ordinary Level, IEB
- Conditional grade 12 exemption certificate
- N3/N4/N5/N6 results
- Certified copies of the statement of results
- Academic record and certificate of conduct if registered at another higher education institution (original)
- Certified copies of ID document or birth certificate
For International Students
- Original SAQA evaluation
- Academic record and certificate of conduct if registered at another higher education institution (original)
- Certified copy of passport
- Study Permit
How to Apply Online
- With a strong internet connection and the use of a good browser, i.e Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, visit
https://flaviusmareka.coltech.co.za Or https://flaviusmareka.net - Click on SELECT A COURSE of your choice.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the application. Ensure that you select the correct campus and course.
- Make sure you fill out all of the required fields. A green tick will appear when the section has been correctly completed.
- Upload all the required documents.
- Your application will be reviewed by the college selection committee. Check your e-mails regularly for your application status and steps to follow.
- If your application status is PROVISIONALLY ACCEPTED, you have 48 hours to accept the offer made. Click on the VIEW DETAIL button on the portal, then click on ACCEPT AND SUBMIT.
- Should you not log in to the student portal and accept the offer within 48 hours, the offer will expire, and your application will be cancelled. Once you accept the offer, your status will change to PRE-ENROLLED.
- If you are a pre-enrolled student, contact the College to book a timeslot to complete the CAP Test. The competency and Placement test is an interest and placement test only, and NOT an IQ test.
- Full-Time students: pay the R500 registration fee. Part-Time students: pay the full course fee. Alternatively provide proof of Approved Bursary details. (The R500 is part of your class fees and is NOT an additional cost.) Banking details – on your e-mail
- Check the registration dates in your e-mail. Visit the campus on the dates specified. You will only gain entrance if you are pre-enrolled. You must go along with registration documents.
- After completing the registration, visit the Student Card Studio on campus to take a photo and receive your student card. You will be notified via sms to inform you when the classes will commence.
