Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) will begin accepting applications for the 2026 academic year on Monday, May 12, 2025. Prospective students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible because there are only a few undergraduate and graduate courses available.

What You’ll Need to Apply to CPUT For 2026

To start your Cape Peninsula University of Technology 2026 applications, you need to have the following:

Domestic students

A certified copy of the first page of your Identity Document or Birth Certificate.
A certified copy of your senior certificate or equivalent qualification. If you are currently in Grade 12, please submit your marks obtained in Grade 11.
Certified copies of the original academic record and Certificate of Conduct, or certified copies of other certificates, diplomas, or degrees you obtained previously from any other higher education institution.
Minor declaration signed by your guardian/parents

International Students

Passport and Proof of Permanent Residence/SA ID Document/Card
Refugee/Asylum seeker temporary permit/formal recognition of refugee status in the RSA
Passport
SAQA Evaluation certificate
School leaving certificate
