Wonderful news for everyone who wants to study at DUT! Durban University of Technology (DUT) is presently accepting undergraduate and graduate applications for the academic year 2026. All students, domestic and international, are welcome to apply
The online application portal will be open from Tuesday, April 1, 2025, to Sunday, November 30, 2024. Be sure to gather all required documents and visit www.dut.ac.za to begin your application. You can either fill out the online form directly or download it for manual completion
Students who wish to apply for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs should do so separately for the academic year 2026 and provide the necessary documentation for each. Applicants will, however, only pay one application fee for both qualifications.

All Programs: Applications open on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Don’t delay; start preparing your application now!
Application Deadline: Submit your complete application by Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Application Deadline: Be sure to submit your application by Friday, October 31, 2025.
Complete documentation is crucial. Missing the required documents will automatically disqualify your application. Ensure you submit everything within two months of starting your application.
Remember, DUT receives more applications than available places. Meeting the eligibility requirements doesn’t guarantee acceptance.
If you’re not accepted this year, don’t get discouraged! You can reapply for the 2025–2026 academic year.

South African applicants to Durban University of Technology (DUT) are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R250.00, while international applicants must pay an R300 non-refundable fee. When making the payment, it’s important to use your student ID number as the reference. To ensure your application is considered, make sure to apply before the deadlines, as late applications will not be accepted. DUT will only accept applications between April 1 and November 30, 2025.

Download the application form from www.cao.ac.za and submit it. Fill out the form completely, answering all questions in black ink (pen). Check that the names on your identity document (ID) and certificates are the same and in the same order, and include the aforementioned documents before submitting them to the Central Application Office.
