Applications For University of Venda (UNIVEN) Still Open For 2026

The University of Venda is still taking applications for the 2026 intake. Domestic applicants should submit their applications by September 30, 2025. The admissions office must receive all required documents from international candidates by October 31, 2025.

Application Requirements for UNIVEN 2026

Since the University of Venda is currently accepting new applications, students must have the following documents prepared for upload before beginning the online application

• Matric certificate/Statement of Results/Grade 11/12 report
• Transcript of academic record and certificate of conduct
• Degree(s)/Diploma certificates

Univen Entry Requirements

Degree:

• The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by the Council for General and Further Education and Training (Umalusi) with an achievement rating of 4 (adequate achievement, 50-59%) or better in four subjects chosen from the recognized 20-credit NSC subjects

Diploma:

• The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi with an achievement rating of 3 (moderate achievement, 40-49%) or better in four recognized NSC 20-credit subjects

Certificate:

• The minimum admission requirement is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi.
