Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary Now Open For 2025

Are you financially stranded and cannot complete your higher education? Then, there is good news for you! The management of the Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary Program is inviting all students to apply for their bursary program, which is currently open and ongoing for the academic year 2025.

The Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary initiative offers funding to qualified students attending universities in South Africa. Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary aims to award over R8.0 million for three years to students pursuing or about to further education at accredited South African universities.

Who is Eligible For the Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary?

To qualify for the Amandla Omoya Trust Bursary, you need to meet at least the criteria below

South African citizens residing within a 50km radius of the Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm
Applicants of all ages up to 35 years old
Individuals intending to study or currently enrolled in:
NQF level 4 technical and vocational programs
National diploma programs
Degree programs
Applicants who have completed their NSC or NTC and are seeking to resume their studies are also welcome to apply.

Accommodation costs
Living expenses
Study materials
